Capabilities
The Medical Center News Office can offer broadcast outlets a great deal of assistance in preparing medical and health stories. We provide on-site help, remote audio and video access from our Medical Center campus, one-minute audio features, b-roll and video news releases. Please contact us at (919) 684-4148 for assistance.

We also have a professional TV studio for satellite uplinks and remote interviews for networks and TV affiliates. To schedule studio time for a broadcast feed, please contact the Medical Center News Office at the numbers listed below.

Audio Capabilities

Radio interviews with Duke Med experts can be arranged by calling the physician directly or by contacting the News Office weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Eastern Time, at (919) 684-4148. After hours, please call (919) 970-3671 to reach the on-call staff member. We also are equipped with ISDN connectivity using either the g.722 or Musicam transmission mode. To schedule studio time for a broadcast feed, please contact the Medical Center News Office at (919) 684-4148 or (919) 970-3671.

Video Capabilities

Duke Medical Center News Office can arrange on-site interviews with Duke Med physicians and other health care professionals. Please note that a representative of the Medical Center News Office must accompany all video and photo crews while on Medical Center premises.
